Luyolo Barney Pityana Lengisi Hawula, is a poet, activist, actor, director, feminist and a Politician. Luyolo was born and raised in the Western Cape, in kwaLanga township. He fell inlove with art on the year of 2008, he was acting doing drama productions by then and he was the best actor in his school. On the year of 2011, Luyolo joined an organization called “Ground” he was selected to go and represent South Africa in Sweden while he was a member of “Ground”, he did his first Art exhibition there and he was the best photographer. When he was doing technical introduction, in the rehearsals he made a mistake by writing the name of the art exhibition wrong and people who attended the exhibition laughed at his mistake. Luyolo was left devastated, and his love for art was left tested. Luyolo directed a lot of high school plays, on 2015 Luyolo created #Emthonjeni_Art_Production. He was then selected again on 2015, to go and represent South Africa in South Arabia, in the United State of America. He created another art production called #Emlanjeni, he directed #Emlanjeni love life and “Young Achievers” programs. He directed all of his projects while he was part of “Sikelela Youth of God” organization, on 2016 he combined both of his project #Emthonjeni and #Emlanjeni to become one project, which was called #Emthonjeni. Luyolo joined a group of young girls who were devoted on not getting sexually intimate or active that was called “Vukani Mthomboyi”, he directed the group and became one of its traditional dancers, facilitator and poet. He left the group to join “Real Phandas”, he won multiple awards as the chairperson of #Emthonjeni, as the best director, best actor, and best production. On 2018 he was chosen as the best poet, in the Western Cape. He faciliatated “Love Life” sessions, where they were giving a platform for rape victims and victims of GBV. He has shared the stage with Zoliswa Nkwankwa, Ntsika, Lebo Segobela, The Soil… He has performed for Julius Malema and Nqabayomzi Nkwankwa. Luyolo has been a director of a production under Magnet Theatre called “Kulture Gang” in “Winning Production” which is called “Kuzolunga”. Luyolo is a national executive member of a political party that was founded on the year of 2018, called “Organic Humanity Movement”. He has founded an organisation called #LangaForMan on the year of 2019, after he was directing an organization that was grooming young girls called “She conquers” but people were not pleased by this, because they felt it is boys that need to be groomed into responsible man than girls, so Luyolo was propelled to form #LangaForMan that mentors young boys into responsible man, and that teaches man about the dangers of GBV and confronts the ugly behavior of man and rehabilitates them into responsible man.”I will die poor, with a rich heart.
