A Teacher is A life long learner.

Esethu Mehlo is a qualified professional Teacher. Who graduated last year and is currently working as a teacher at Primary School, he was born eDutywa in the Eastern Cape. He fell inlove with art at a very young age, he grew up enjoying making clay pots and sketching cartoons with his brother. He enjoyed dancing and singing when the was family gatherings, or when they are doing house chores with his brother. When he was in grade eight his Art and Culture teacher gave them a project about acting on stage, after he realized that he was good at performing on stage, the love of performing on stage grew within him. It was when he relocated to Cape Town on 2010 that he took his love of art to another level, by joining a local art group that is known as “Yabonga” at his location residence Straand. “Yabonga” art group gave Esethu Mehlo a platform to showcase his talent of acting and singing, in different stages like Yabonga center Makhaza Khayelitsha, Rhabe Church at Langa residence, Langa primary school, monthly performances at Landlwe Museum, Black theater in Delft and at the Central Library Cape Town. His love of art didn’t stop there, he even took it to his tertiary institution by engaging himself with Buya Mbo society in which he got the chance to perform at Tshisimani for “Silent Voices” event, St Piters student residence, Barkley Davis Cput Mowbray campus, and being part of Site Pieters choir on 2017. Esethu Mehlo wishes to be a well-known performer in various art theatres around South Africa and abroad, and making a positive impact to our future leaders that he is currently teaching.
